Dan came to me via an online DJ forum website, asking for an image identity. He wanted something simple, yet very recognizable within the DJ community and left the rest up to me to decide. After a few moments of brainstorming, I decided to represent his logo as a series of pitch identifiers as made famous on the Technic’s 1200 Turntable. This series of dots allows the user to easily and quickly identify the record’s pitch without looking at the pitch slider at the side of the platter.
