This threadless dot com design is a graphical play on words, bringing to different ‘tools of battle’ together into one object. The turntable headshell is the connection point between the record and the turntable, symbolizing a weapon between battling hip-hop DJs. Using this idea and mixing with the graphical representation of an ornate battle axe, it creates one tool, bringing out the hidden meaning within the headshell. the floral pattern at the end of the headshell represents the additional content needed in order to validate this new weapon, the recorded music.

I believe an overall scoring of a 2.0 over a 7 day period is required to bring the design into print. As you can see, I fell just below the requirement, logging a 1.88.
